Strong Ready Mix is seeking CDL Class A Drivers for our Strong Trucking Haul division to join our concrete team. The Haul Driver safely picks up and delivers aggregate, sand and other materials to our batch plants. Whether youre a seasoned veteran having hauled thousands of yards of material or looking to learn a new skill we have a truck driving job for you. If needed, youll receive hands-on experience with one of our highly skilled Lead Drivers.

Responsibilities - CDL Driver:

• Delivery of Materials to our Batch Plants
• Prioritize safety throughout the operation in accordance with DOT and company policies
• Operate equipment in accordance with all federal, state, city, and company regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document and report vehicle condition at beginning and end of each shift
  • Check all vehicle fluid levels daily and add fluids if necessary
  • Clean the outside of the vehicle at the end of each shift

Qualifications/Requirements - CDL Driver:

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must have 2 years' minimum driving CDL Experience
• Must possess a commercial drivers license (CDL Class A), have a valid DOT physical or pass a company provided physical, and pass a drug screen
• Must have a clean, safe driving record, and excellent driving skills
• Must understand oral and written instructions of a technical nature relating to products and vehicles and take on those instructions to complete tasks
• Must take pride in your trucks appearance
• Promote coworker, customer, and public relations with a positive attitude in the performance of duties
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Must be able to speak, read, and have a working knowledge of the English language
• Perform physical activities such as manually tarping your loads
