Currently seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of ground-up multifamily projects in Elizabeth, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a high-performing construction team, with hands-on exposure to all phases of project management from preconstruction through closeout.

Description

  • Project Management: Assist in managing ground-up multifamily construction projects from permitting to completion

  • Team Management: Support the Project Manager in coordinating subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders

  • Budget Oversight: Help manage project budgets, procurement logs, and cost control processes

  • Schedule Management: Monitor schedules and ensure key milestones are being met; identify and report potential delays

  • Quality Control: Participate in site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings as needed

Profile

  • 2-4 years of experience in a construction project support role, preferably in multifamily or commercial work

  • Familiarity with the full project lifecycle, including scheduling, budgeting, and document control

  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

  • Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced and team-driven environment
