Description
The Assistant Super is responsible for:
- Overseeing all field operations, ensuring work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinating, directing, and supervising subcontractors and direct labor on-site.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, schedule, quality control, and cost control standards.
- Developing and maintaining the site logistics plan, ensuring smooth operations across all aspects of the project.
- Assisting in developing, updating, and maintaining the overall project schedule.
- Leading weekly foreman and safety meetings to ensure team alignment and safety adherence.
- Attending and contributing to weekly owner meetings, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
Profile
The right Assistant Super has the following qualifications:
- Must be commutable to projects in either Commutable to Taunton MA and/or Newton MA & Maynard MA
- 2+ years of experience in the construction industry
- Ground-up or renovation experience on projects $20M+
- Ideally within public, academic, or K-12 construction
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Massachusetts Unrestricted Supervisor's License
- Experience using Procore or other construction management software
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Offer
The Assistant Super will receive:
- Compensation $85K-$110K (based on experience)
- Project Bonus: For on-time project completion

- 2 weeks vacation to start, plus 5 sick days and 2 personal days
