Doyon Management Services, LLC (DMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Doyon Government Group (DGG), provides design-build and general construction services for demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations.
JOB SUMMARY: The
Construction Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. This role involves handling sensitive and confidential information and requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support construction projects
- Draft and edit correspondence and project-related documents
- Filing/organization
- Data entry
- Coordinate with clients' administrative staff to support project communications
- Order and maintain required office supplies
- Assist with special projects
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: Required:
- High school diploma: associates degree preferred
- 2 years office administration experience
- Government construction experience preferred
- Organized and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with computers, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Internet
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of the work is performed in a professional office or job site setting with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is generally sedentary, requiring routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to forty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
SALARY & BENEFITS: Hourly salary for this position is $30.00 per hour. Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location. Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, vision, dental, flexible spending, employee assistance program, group and voluntary life and disability insurance and 401(k) retirement plan. Paid Time Off, 10 paid holidays, 5 bereavement and 10 jury duty paid leave.
