We are looking to fill the Construction Administration Architect position. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who will work directly with Principals, Project Managers, and all levels of staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years minimum experience in the construction phase with one of the following:
- Bachelor's or Master of Architecture (preferred)
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's Degrees in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing Engineering
- Architectural or Engineering registration, REVIT preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Applicants must have technical expertise, good verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires experience with multi-family, mixed-use, wood, concrete, steel and high-rise projects.
- Position requires excellent management, organization, and people skills, including the ability to work with a wide-variety of staff levels from senior executives to administrative staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the overall construction documents; coordinate effectively with internal design team, consultant engineers and municipal authorities.
- Review shop drawings/submittals for compliance to quality and design specifications.
- Answer RFIs and coordinate responses with owner and general contractor for cost effective design solutions.
- Coordinate RFI response and Submittal review comments with consultants.
- Perform bi-weekly site visits, attend OAC meetings, prepare field observation reports.
- Along with PIC/Project manager, prepare all notice to owners, certificates of insurance, and close out documentation for projects.
- Review proposed change orders for Owner's approval.
- Review and approve monthly payment applications by contractor.
- Log submittals and supporting documentations throughout the duration of project.
- Perform detailed CPM schedule analyses on as-built schedules to determine delay.
Compensation at SK+I is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000.
