Configuration Manager Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI's Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) program is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to join our cutting-edge team in San Diego, CA. This role will directly support the Department of the Air Force's contribution to the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2), a system of systems. Our approach adopts the best practices of open architectures, government owned waveforms and DevSecOps to enable rapid proliferation of new software and hardware across the Department. DevSecOps and software reuse represents potential reduction in overall service costs for modernization and procurement. This modular architecture allows for parallel development, acquisition, and procurement of individual elements on separate timelines, enhancing flexibility and efficiency. The transition also provides technology changes through time to be adopted quickly and demonstrates a continuous integration/continuous deployment approach regardless of type of activity. Responsibilities: Provides configuration management planning and tracking implement data management, contract data requirements to include scheduling all submittals, providing status for program integrated teams, preparing metric status charts as required, track software and hardware baseline versions, problem reports, deliveries to field, licenses, and tools.
Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization. May conduct briefings with senior leaders within the job function.
Responsible for leading large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams.
Assures 100% traceability, repeatability, and accountability for configuration items. Oversees configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Maintains configuration management for DOD development, tools, etc. Qualifications: Required: Active Top Secret clearance
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
At least 15 years of relevant IT experience
Prior hardware configuration management experience Desired: Software Configuration Management experience

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
