Job Number: R Configuration Manager The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact support to our warfighters? As a configuration manager on our team, you will have the chance to shape, maintain, develop, and promote configuration management (CM) policy, processes, practices and communicate these to unit personnel, as directed. You'll manage and maintain control of all configuration controlled items that are under CM control. You will provide CM recommendations to CM government leads while promoting proper CM practices within the unit functional areas. Promotion of CM practices includes but should not be limited to coordinating proper CM practices to be performed by others within the unit. You'll create, archive, and maintain CM records for any hardware, firmware, software, or documentation required for unit. You will support reviews including but not limited to, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Configuration Control Boards (CCB), Trip Readiness Reviews, and design reviews from a CM perspective. You'll guide and support Configuration Control board (CCB) and Deficiency Review Board (DRB) meetings. One of your duties will be to ensure security classification guides (SCG) are followed in all CM activities. You will enhance your familiarity with Cybersecurity (CS) and be able to support CS team needs as required. You Have: 4+ years of experience in System Engineering or Process Development
Experience with providing guidance in a dynamic environment
Ability to receive information from multiple sources with varying levels of consistency and structure data or artifacts into a consistent, coherent archival system
Ability to work with technical professionals and project leads to ensure configuration management (CM) practices are followed with minimal impact to projects
Ability to structure electronic folders
Ability to identify inconsistencies in documents and drawings to be archived
Ability to exercise strict adherence to security requirements and procedures
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Configuration Management (CM) in an Agile, DevSecOps, or CI/CD software development environment
Knowledge of Cybersecurity processes and procedures

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
