ASRC Agile Decision Sciences (ADS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, has a great opportunity for an Manager Configuration Management with experience managing web applications to become a part of the support team for NASA. The role will support the development and maintenance of a custom financial management tool. In this role, the candidate will engage with customers at NASA to gather requirements, provide recommendations on solutions, and effectively communicate project status. Additionally, this role will provide leadership to a team of software engineers and serve as a liaison between the software team and customer.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at NASA headquarters in Washington, DC to gather requirements, define project goals, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead application development team to ensure delivery of products that meet the project requirements, track deliverables, and serve as a liaison between the application development team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication and training for all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet high-quality standards. Ensure regularly conducted data reviews and the integrity of the data is maintained.
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership, including status reports, progress metrics, and performance evaluations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to minimize impact on project delivery. Proactively address issues and implement solutions.
  • Support Interagency Agreement (IAA) and reimbursable integration as needed
Desired Skills
  • Experience with the government accounting and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile) and change management processes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with stakeholders and a team of developers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
  • Related experience or knowledge in ColdFusion and relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server) is beneficial.
  • Experience with IAAs
Education
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Four (4) years of additional project management experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
