Configuration Manager Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled IT Configuration Manager to join our team. The Configuration Manager
will be responsible for overseeing the configuration management process for our organization, ensuring
that all software, hardware, and facility configurations are properly documented and maintained.
Our goal is to simplify and standardize operations and maintenance activities across systems and
organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and experience with CMPRO or
other similar Administration and Data Management tools.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement configuration management plans.
- Manage and maintain configuration management tools.
- Ensure that all configurations are properly documented and tracked.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of configurations.
- Identify and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner.
- Perform administrative management of the CMPro application, as well as support to tailor, populate, and maintain data within the application.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions within CMPro. Configure and maintain CMPro workflows, business rules, and data validation rules to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with documented requirements.
- Assist in tailoring CMPro data models and templates to meet project-specific requirements.
- Populate CMPro with initial configuration data, including configuration item masters, drawings, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Configuration Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automated configuration management tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $135,000 per hour
