RESPONSIBILITIES:

SITEC is seeking a highly organized and technically proficient professional to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Hardware/Software Configuration Management (HSCM) products in support of both domestic and international programs. This role will serve as a liaison with key stakeholders for all HSCM-related tasking, release cycles, and requirements. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expert (SME) input related to HSCMs, particularly in support of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • This position supports Configuration Control Boards and technical reviews and works closely with program managers to align roadmaps and implementation schedules with configuration changes. The candidate will provide technical input to those managing shared configuration items and coordinate across engineering and sustainment teams for all test, fleet, and production-released HSCMs.
  • Additionally, the candidate will support integration and engineering activities for hardware and software baselines used in test and operational environments.
  • The role involves managing a portfolio of HSCMs, including those supporting test assets, primary fleet assets, and secondary support equipment. The candidate will oversee all documentation and review workflows within configuration management tools, including setting up project folders, assigning reviewers, establishing workflows, and adjudicating comments. Responsibilities include managing approvals, ensuring final documentation is properly archived, and coordinating release communications with relevant stakeholders.
  • Additional responsibilities include responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to configuration items and supporting audits and reviews such as Physical and Functional Configuration Audits. The candidate will also be expected to address any findings tied to HSCM compliance or implementation.
  • Candidates must have a strong understanding of ECP processes, configuration control protocols, and technical directive procedures. Experience with configuration management databases or tools-including import/export processes, user role administration, and account management-is required. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, high-tempo environment and be capable of managing complex technical baselines across multiple teams and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Secret clearance required, ability to obtain Top Secret
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Experience with DoD weapons systems and platforms
  • Familiarity with Hardware Software Compatibility Matrix (HSCM)
  • Configuration identification, configuration control, configuration audits and reviews, configuration status accounting, and experience with software development facilities, ancillary software testing, production, and operational use.
  • Of the Five (5) years, at least three (3) years of experience is required using configuration management software tools such as ClearCase, GIT, CVS, or Synergy.
  • Define configuration management processes to manage configuration baselines for all ADT weapon systems, digital engineering, and software products in alignment with ADT Agile and CI/CD processes.
  • Support the implementation of CM processes within the ADT cloud environment.
  • Document and maintain program CM processes.
  • Develop team training for implementation of CM processes.
  • Support resource planning for growing and developing the CM team to support emerging platforms in the program's portfolio.
  • Oversee and manage all program CM activities.
EDUCATION:
  • BS or BA in a Technical or Business Discipline
  • Six (6) years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Configuration identification, configuration control, configuration audits and reviews, configuration status accounting, and experience with software development facilities, ancillary software testing, production, and operational use.
  • Of the Five (5) years, at least three (3) years of experience is required using configuration management software tools such as ClearCase, GIT, CVS, or Synergy.
