Overview Astrion is seeking a
Configuration Manager to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.
Primary Role The Configuration Manager will provide configuration management (CM) support across all unit projects and the organization.
Compensation Min Salary USD $100,000.00 Annually
Max Salary USD $150,000.00 Annually
Qualifications Required Education/Experience - Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience in System Engineering or Process Development
Desired Education/Experience - CM in an Agile, DevSecOps, or CI/CD software development environment
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity processes and procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other tools
Clearance - Only candidates who currently possess an active Top Secret / SCI clearance will be considered. Must have ability to get Special Access. Applicants for positions which require DoD security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.

- Organized with particular attention to detail
- Ability to receive information from multiple sources with varying levels of consistency and structure data/artifacts into a consistent, coherent archival system
- Ability to work with technical professionals and project leads to ensure CM practices are followed with minimal impact to projects
- Proficiency with structuring electronic folders
- Ability to identify inconsistencies in documents and drawings to be archived
- Strict adherence to security requirements and procedures
Responsibilities Key Functions - Maintain, develop, and promote CM policy, processes, practices and communicate these to unit personnel, as directed.
- Manage and maintain control of all configuration controlled items that are under CM control.
- Provide CM recommendations to CM government lead.
- Promote proper CM practices within the unit functional areas. Promotion of CM practices includes but should not be limited to coordinating proper CM practices to be performed by others within the unit.
- Create, archive, and maintain CM records for any hardware, firmware, software, and/or documentation required for unit.
- Support reviews including but not limited to, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Configuration Control Boards (CCB), Trip Readiness Reviews, and design reviews from a CM perspective.
- Guide and support Configuration Control board (CCB) Deficiency Review Board (DRB) meetings.
- Ensure security classification guides (SCG) are followed in all CM activities.
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity (CS) and able to support CS team needs as required
