Summary Provides technical and administrative direction to and implementation of the Configuration Management (CM) Program and activities for the American Centrifuge Operating Engineering Department. Oversees CAD and Product Data Management System (PDM) software. Provides leadership and mentors CM personnel. Employee will provide feedback and implement plans supporting the organization's strategic vision.
Roles/Responsibilities/Interfaces - Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Program Plan for the ACO Engineering.
- Oversee the implementation of the CM Program for the ACO. This includes assuring that the physical equipment and facilities; the documents such as drawings, specifications and procedures, and the regulatory basis for the ACO are all aligned with each other and with governing requirements.
- Maintain involvement with design, construction, operation, and maintenance activities to ensure that CM principles and practices are followed.
- Provide liaison with other site organizational entities to ensure consistent application of CM.
- Oversees the implementation, upgrades, and daily operation of CAD and Product Data Management System (PDM) software.
- Review and participate in the development of the CM performance indicators and monitoring of CM health.
- Periodically review selected data sources to identify trends, latent organizational weaknesses, or error precursors associated with performance of CM activities.
- Provide periodic CM status reports to management.
- Review the evaluation of Condition Notifications associated with trends in CM problems.
- Participate in or direct self-assessments to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement in the CM program.
- Promote training to foster understanding and awareness of CM.

- Work effectively under pressure and time constraints
- Skilled in managing workload (i.e., quickly/easily changing focus as priorities/work needs change)
Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering or the physical sciences or equivalent technical experience
- Four years of nuclear experience
- Preferred experience with Windchill PDMLink and CAD Modeling (CREO and/or AutoCAD) implementation and administration.
