Configuration Engineer Senior Advisor Location : Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 1831 Chestnut St, St. Louis, MO 46204.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The
Configuration Engineer Senior Advisor is responsible for supporting the test environments used to support Regional, Enterprise and/or other special project releases.
How you will make an impact :
- Assigns and handles customer service requests for all internal workgroups, manages and monitor environment processes for those workgroups.
- Coordinates the upgrade of environments for large scale efforts and serves as group contact for major projects and initiatives.
- Takes ownership of customer issues affecting EMS workgroup processes and manages and enforces processes to support ongoing process improvement.
- Leads environmental build efforts for large-scale Enterprise project/release efforts.
- May perform code migrations and prepare, merge, and version code for production builds.
- Works with appropriate workgroup to develop SLAs and OLAs based on work assignments and monitors SLAs and OLAs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Leads team meeting (in absence of manager.
- Participates on ad-hoc committees to support Enterprise efforts.
- Introduces other areas to EMS services and rolls-out EMS process/procedure changes to the Enterprise as needed.
- Analyzes scope of work requests, develops work plans, leads ad-hoc assignments and internal initiatives and provides leadership and mentoring to all team members.
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
- Four (4) years in any occupation with experience in IT and supporting application development
- must include:
- Gitlab, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Udeploy, XLdeploy and able to work in Windows and Linux environment.
- Four (4) years of experience in managing middleware and webservices and not limited to technologies like WebSphere, undertow and Pega framework systems.
- Four (4) years of experience working on terraform and Microservices like Kubernetes and cloud native applications.
- Four (4) years of experience in Containerization of applications, Microservices and working with F5 load balancer or equivalent.
