Sr. Configuration Analyst
Location: Mason, OH (Hybrid - 2 days per week in office)
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Duration: Contract through 01/31/2026
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Configuration Analyst to join our Business Configuration Solutions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enabling member benefit configuration strategies through the design, implementation, and execution of system configurations. A significant portion of your time (approximately 60%) will be dedicated to hands-on configuration work, while the remaining 40% will involve actively participating in and leading cross-functional meetings to capture and define requirements. You will be a key representative for the Configuration workstream, collaborating with various teams to implement solutions that meet client needs, particularly within Medicaid programs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert, representing the Configuration workstream for large Government Implementations across Medicaid, Med/Surgical, and Medicare programs.
- Provide in-depth data analysis and expert troubleshooting on configuration toolsets with automated processes.
- Prepare data for analysis, including identifying and resolving duplicates, errors, and outliers, and perform thorough data validation.
- Utilize strong SQL skills to build queries and extract Back End data based on configuration requirements.
- Act as a Business Analyst, documenting detailed requirements and process flows for enhancements to improve the automation toolset for Configuration.
- Independently manage and prioritize workload to consistently meet designated service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Business Configuration solution team's projects.
- Collaborate closely with Configuration leadership on the development and execution of the Configuration roadmap deliverables that enable the automation of product and network offerings.
- Conduct thorough Fit/Gap Analysis and provide comprehensive Feedback Assessments on new client plans, demonstrating how configuration will be leveraged to onboard new business effectively.
- Cultivate and maintain positive and productive working relationships with team members and a diverse range of stakeholders, including business partners at all levels of leadership.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and represent the configuration perspective in cross-functional meetings.
- Significant experience (ideally 5+ years) with a configuration platform (Facets strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing and benefit configuration principles.
- Solid proficiency in SQL and database querying.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to learn quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience building, troubleshooting, and prototyping Medicaid products.
- Proven ability to capture business requirements directly with clients.
- Experience in executing testing and providing thorough documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills specifically related to Medicaid program implementations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Facets platform, including Medical Plan Benefit Configuration and Provider Network & Agreement Configuration.
- In-depth understanding of Medicare and Medicaid program requirements.
Compliance Requirements:
- Successful completion of a background check, 5-panel drug screening, and exclusion screenings will be required prior to onboarding.
- Ongoing monthly OIG/GSA/OFAC screenings will be required throughout the duration of the contract.
- Screenshots of completed compliance training will be required within the first week of hire.
- Completion of mandatory training modules within the first three weeks of hire.
