Responsibilities :
- Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and management of pathology
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with oral health conditions requiring surgical intervention
- Collaborate with referring dentists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient care
- Administer anesthesia including local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and IV sedation in accordance with state regulations and patient needs
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies
- Educate patients and/or guardians on post-operative care, risks, and expected outcomes of procedures
- Ensure surgical operatory is sterile and equipped with appropriate tools, supplies, and staff support
- Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Contribute to the practice s reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care
Qualifications :
- DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completed residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Active Washington State Dental License (or eligible to obtain)
- Active DEA License
Compensation Information:
