We have an opening for a Conference Business Development Senior Account Manager. The role provides an opportunity to join a team that heads-up top-notch events with a solid history and to work directly with senior level clients who provide solutions to the life science industry. It involves strategic consulting with clients on helping them find solutions for their business. It involves selling Sponsorships and Exhibits for Pharma/Biotech conferences, webinars, podcasts and digital media. It is truly a multimedia business development position
Applicants must have a background in media sales, strategy and research and client support. Previous media/conference sales experience is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
This role reports directly to the Executive Director of Business Development and works both independently and with team members. There is travel to some conferences and trade shows. On-going training and support is provided.
Requirements: Must have a completed 4-year college degree. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus but not required.
Hybrid work style is an option but we will consider fully remote applicants who can demonstrate solid sales experience and the ability to work fully remote.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in media sales, is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- At least five years' of relevant work experience in media sales
