Job Summary:
A Concessions/Café Worker is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages to patrons in a fast-paced and often high-volume environment. They are expected to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient concessions or café area while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu choices and ordering.
- Provide attentive and friendly customer service throughout their visit.
- Handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.
- Food Preparation:
- Prepare and assemble food and beverage items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed during preparation and service.
- Maintain product freshness and quality by monitoring expiration dates.
- Order Processing:
- Accurately take customer orders, process payments, and issue receipts.
- Operate cash registers or point-of-sale systems efficiently.
- Handle cash and make change accurately, or process electronic payments.
- Concession Stand/Café Maintenance:
- Keep the concessions or café area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including wiping counters, tables, and equipment.
- Restock supplies and ensure proper storage of food, beverages, and condiments.
- Food Presentation:
- Plate or package food items attractively and in accordance with established presentation standards.
- Ensure that beverages are properly prepared, dispensed, and served.
- Garnish and decorate dishes as required
- Compliance and Safety:
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, including the proper disposal of waste and cleaning of equipment.
- Adhere to any age-restricted sales policies, such as alcohol or tobacco sales (if applicable).
- Upkeep of Equipment:
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as grills, ovens, popcorn machines, or coffee makers, safely and efficiently.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor for repair or maintenance.
- Team Collaboration:

Qualifications:
