The Role

The Concessions Administrator position will provide administrative support to the Director of Concessions in th eoperation of the concessions department.

The Concessions Administrator will provide administrative support to the Director of Concessions in the performance of supporting the Concessions Department at the venue. Administrative duties may include, but are not limited to, appointment and interview setting, correspondence, meeting minutes, and keeping the Director and the Operations Team organized, creating PowerPoint presentations when needed, HR liaison, basic office supply, troubleshoot daily issues that arise in everyday operations, and general clerical duties. Will also assist in the updating of training manuals, receive interviews & visitors, and channel necessary communications. This role pays an hourly rate of $25 Responsibilities:
  • Providing general office/administrative
  • Providing general office automation/clerical support which include copying, filing, correspondence, telephone inquiries
  • Understand menu offerings, presentation, and pricing to assist with paperwork, polling processes, and reporting and updating menus or posting menus
  • Check in and check out radios, keys, and other essential equipment for stand teams and collect at end of shift.
  • File, organize, and maintain documentation to ensure proper record-keeping and easy retrieval.
  • Prepare and maintain event production logs, temperature logs, and other necessary reports.
  • Filing maintenance: maintain files; ensuring compliance and accuracy in files
  • Relaying any HR, employee relations, safety, policy or procedural concerns, and any situation that may result in disciplinary action, to appropriate management in a timely and responsible manner
  • Assist with coordination/ execution of Union Contract
  • Assists with coordination of daily and event specific logistics and operations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 years of business, general office, and/or accounting experience
  • Knowledge and skill in using computer software, including MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Outlook
  • Ability to adhere to a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain open, direct, positive, and objective lines of communication with management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks calmly, professionally, and with flexibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally, knowledgeably, and courteously with both employees and vendors
  • Ability to be self-directed in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to adhere to highest standards of confidentiality and discretion in all proprietary business, financial, and employee matters
  • Strong organizational skills; with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment which may be desk based, or on the floor during operations. This includes loud, crowded noisy environments, and working stands. You may be asked to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, for example during safety audits, or inventory counts.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements.
  • This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Food Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  • This role will have most of its shift event based which is during late afternoon and evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
