Computer Vision AI/ML Engineer Seeking 3 Computer Vision AI/ML Engineers for a growing CV group as part of an employee-owned engineering firm in Herndon, VA. In this role, you will join a skilled team applying cutting - edge research in a complex and evolving data environment, develop code to perform complex modeling to detect and characterize objects (using P ython, T ensorFlow , PyTorch , & related software packages) , and enhance an evolving analytic tradecraft. You will integrate data from a variety of sources, formats , and disciplines into coherent databases, train foundational models to advance IC assessments, fine-tune models, and write briefings & reports for decision makers.
This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity with outstanding benefits. Salary ranges from $100,000 - $173,000 to accommodate a variety of career levels across the 3 open roles. Candidates must be local to Herndon, VA or surrounding areas to fulfill the daily onsite expectation. An active, current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required. No relocation assistance, visa sponsorship, or subcontracting arrangements are available.
Required Qualifications of the Computer Vision AI/ML Engineer: - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD a plus
- At least 2-4 years' relevant experience (for Staff level), 5-8 years (for Senior level), or 8-10 years (for Expert level)
- Data Science experience
- Python and/or R
- Machine Learning/Computer Vision/Object Detection
- AI/ML experience
- Currently active TS/SCI security clearance with required polygrap
Desired Qualifications of the Computer Vision AI/ML Engineer :
- PyTorch machine learning library experience
- TensorFlow software library for AI/ML experience
- Overhead Imagery Exploitation experience
