Scope of work:

The IT Application Development Solutions (ADS) team at WSSC is dedicated to developing, maintaining, and supporting Java Enterprise Edition applications and COTS products that drive the organization's daily operations. We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join the ADS team to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot mobile applications, contributing to the seamless functionality and user experience of our apps.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. UI/UX Implementation - Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring alignment with Apple's design standards.
2. iOS App Development - Design and develop iOS applications for iPhone and iPad using Swift.
3. App Maintenance - Maintain and troubleshoot existing iOS applications developed in Swift and Objective-C.
4. API Integration - Integrate with APIs and third-party services to enhance app functionality.
5. App Release Management - Manage app submission, approval, and release processes on the Apple App Store.
6. App Deployment - Oversee app distribution and deployment on IBM MaaS360.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

General Experience:

• 5+ years of iOS app development experience.
• Full-cycle mobile app development expertise.
• Proven understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of server-client architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Quick adaptability and learning skills.

Specialized Experience: 5+ years in iOS app development for iPhone and iPad, with experience in the following:

• Languages: Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Development: Full-cycle mobile app development, secure coding practices, and data encryption.
• Design: UI/UX design best practices, working knowledge of UIKit, CoreData, Alamofire, MapKit, and AVFoundation.
• Integration: Familiarity with Firebase Analytics SDK, Crashlytics, and Vision APIs.
• Tools: Proficiency in Xcode, Swift Playgrounds, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager (SPM), Simulator, Postman, App Store Connect, and TestFlight.
• App Management: Experience managing app submission, approval, and release on the Apple Store and deployment on IBM MaaS360.
