Job Title: Computer Support Specialist Location: Fort Gregg-Adams Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Computer Support Specialist to join our team at Fort Gregg-Adams. This role involves providing exceptional client/customer-facing support, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of computer systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with computer imaging, updates, installations, and hardware setup. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients and customers, addressing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Perform computer imaging, updates, and installations to ensure systems are up-to-date and functioning efficiently.
- Set up and configure hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer systems and networks.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and service delivery.
- Educate clients and customers on best practices for using computer systems and software. Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer imaging, updates, installations, and hardware setup.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus. Contract Details:
