Position: Laptop PC Hardware Repair Technician
Location: Kissimmee, FL
Compensation: $15 per hour

We are hiring Part-time Computer Repair Technicians for our evening shift. This is a great opportunity to start your career in IT. We offer ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement.
The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing laptops under warranty and those with physical damage by replacing broken components with new or used working parts. Common repairs include screens, palm rests, hinges, casings, motherboards, and hard drives/SSDs. The technician will manage repair tickets, communicate with clients through a ticketing system, and escalate issues to sales, management, or tier 2 support when necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Identify and work with internal computer components through guided instruction and on-the-job experience.
- Complete assigned laptop repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Work through repair tickets in priority order.
- Keep all open tickets updated daily in the system.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and meet repair quality standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
Qualifications:
- A passion for working with computers and a desire to grow in the IT field.
- No prior repair experience needed-hands-on training will be provided.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and speaking.
- Computer Certifications may be required later, and we'll fully support your training and certification process.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., PCs, servers, printers) regularly.
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Always shows up on time and ready to contribute, with a positive attitude.
- Must clear Level 2 Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Background check
