TRISTAR is seeking a Computer or Electrical Engineer III for our government customer in Crane, IN
We are seeking an experienced Computer or Electrical Engineer to join our team
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks for government projects supporting the Navy's SLQ-59 and CV6 systems
Requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful execution of complex engineering projects
Position Responsibilities:
Project Management:
o Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities
o Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
o Ensure compliance with government regulations and project specifications
o Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical reports, and project plans
Technical Oversight:
o Provide technical guidance and support for the SLQ-59 and CV6 systems
o Oversee the design, development, and testing of system components
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
o Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards
Administrative Tasks:
o Maintain project records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
o Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes
o Assist in budget management and resource allocation
Stakeholder Communication:
o Liaise with government officials, contractors, and other stakeholders
o Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
o Address and resolve any project-related issues or concerns
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with the Navy's SLQ-59 and CV6 systems is highly desirable
Proven track record in project management and administrative tasks
Ability to travel up to 10%
Must be a US Citizen
An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
PMP is a plus
