Are you an experienced Punch Press Programmer with a background in Brake Press and Punch Press programming? If so, we want to hear from you. We are seeking a skilled Turret Punch Press Programmer to join our team, supporting the power industry located near Pontiac, Michigan. This is a first shift opportunity working a 5am-2pm Monday- Friday schedule with a pay range between $31-$58 hour with a full benefits package.

What You'll Do:
  • Program Amada brake and punch press machines, selecting the appropriate punches, dies, and press parameters to meet production requirements.
  • Read and interpret part prints, blueprints, and design specifications to ensure accurate and efficient programming, utilizing modeling software to manipulate and optimize part designs.
  • Choose materials (copper, aluminum, or steel) and adjust tools, speeds, and feeds for operations to enhance production efficiency.
  • Identify and select the tools and dies
  • Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and improve programming processes.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience programming Punch Press machines (milling and turning experience not applicable).
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software, specifically Amada is beneficial
  • Familiarity with punches, dies, and tooling used in brake and punch press operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret part prints, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Self-sufficient and ready to contribute immediately - minimal training available.
