We're looking for a CNC & Manual Machinist with a strong work ethic, who loves machining, is not afraid to work with their hands, and values working on a team. You will be instrumental in producing high-quality, close-tolerance parts for critical applications in the automotive and appliance industries.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up, troubleshooting, and machining close tolerance parts on CNC machines for one-off and short-run production. You also have a strong background in precision machining.


What you will do:

  • Set up, troubleshoot, and machine close tolerance parts on CNC machines for one-off and short-run production.
  • Troubleshoot machining processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Edit and verify CNC programs to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (GED), trade school, or Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology.
  • 1 year minimum machining experience.
  • Prior experience with mechanical equipment, close tolerance machining, and fabrication of custom-designed equipment.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, accredited to standards such as ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and Nadcap .
  • Strong knowledge of precision machining and metal fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
