CNC Foreman

Our client located in Carrollton, TX is in immediate need of a CNC Foreman. This is a direct hire, hourly paid position with overtime.

CNC Foreman Role:

As the CNC Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a skilled team of CNC operators to achieve production targets while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Will report directly to the Fabrication CNC Manager to ensure that workflow meets production goals and safety protocols are strictly followed.

Promote and enforce ISO 9001 standards within the CNC department.

Provide clear direction and guidance for daily work and production priorities.

Oversee and assess output quality to ensure production goals are met.

Motivate and inspire CNC personnel to improve efficiency and meet deadlines.

Assist the team during job setups, review blueprints, and estimate labor hours.

Compile lists for tooling and material procurement.

Train staff on proper CNC equipment usage and safety procedures.

Collaborate with CNC programmers to identify and resolve programming issues.

Develop and maintain technical best practices and standard operating procedures.

Lead and mentor the team to achieve production goals in line with company objectives.

Ensure employees receive training focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

Provide coaching and guidance, including involvement in the hiring and disciplinary process.

Enforce company procedures while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Perform other related duties as required.


CNC Foreman Background Profile:

Minimum 2 years of experience with CNC programming and technical troubleshooting.

Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams to meet production targets.

Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and their application within CNC operations.

Experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis Mazak or Haas machines is preferred.

Trade school certification in CNC or equivalent experience preferred.

Excellent math skills and expertise in blueprint reading.

Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and team-building capabilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-priority manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in troubleshooting and process improvement.
