Computer Network Operations Developer Lead

Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-Time Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer Lead to support advanced mission-focused cyber development initiatives. The selected candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development and deployment of both hardware and software-based CNO capabilities. This leadership role involves ensuring compliance with software development standards, mentoring a team of developers, and providing technical direction across the full lifecycle of CNO tools-from design and implementation to testing and maintenance. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong knowledge of network and cybersecurity principles, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders on project status and deliverables. Tasks Performed:
• Computer Network Operations (CNO) development Subject Matter Expert (SME) role
• Ensuring compliance with software standards is the primary focus of role
• Supervise and mentor CNO developer team and technical leadership
• Lead the design, develop, document, test, debug and maintain hardware AND software based CNO capabilities
• Apply knowledge of security concepts and networks
• Communicate project status to leadership and customers Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED with at least 16 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Information Systems, with 14 years of relevant experience Seven (7) years of position-specific relevant experience:
• Proficient in low-level internals in one or more technological areas (e.g., Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices)
• Networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming
• Understanding of assembly programming concepts
• Unit Test experience
• Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP) (Preferred)
• C Certified Professional Programmer Certification (CPP) (Preferred)
• CI/CD pipeline/Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) development experience (Preferred) Other Job Requirements:
• Minimum Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship, and successful background check Job Location and Term:
