COMPUTER HELP DESK

Our company is looking for a Computer Help Desk Representative to assist in providing the company's basic services through direct contact or indirectly via telephone, skype or email.

Personnel in this category is expected to approach our customers with tact, courtesy and discretion to reflect our excellent corporate practices as well as through knowledge of company products and internal processes. The positions is subjected to considerable amount of independent work action.

JOB CLASSIFICATION INFORMATION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Key responsibilities and qualifications:
  • Handle high volume of inbound phone calls, e-mails and faxes.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Customer Service skills
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary to support other departments.
  • Operating Systems Windows 7, Windows 10, basic understanding
  • Data Entry to Computer Systems
  • Solving Hardware and Software issues
  • IT troubleshooting: (browsers, printers, scanners)
  • Remote diagnostic and solution identification
  • New computer set-up, configurations and upgrades
  • E-mail configuration and support
  • Software updates and maintenance
  • Hardware and software installation, configuration and upgrades
  • Internet connectivity issues
  • General maintenance and repairs
  • Crisis resolution
  • Virus control and removal
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NONE

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of MS Office

Excellent communication skills

Excellent organization and time management skills

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE : Bachelors Degree.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and speak Spanish is a must, English is highly desirable and Portuguese is a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel, Power Point is a plus.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. May occasionally be required to lift objects between 20-40 Lbs.
