Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Compressor Operator based in Greeley, Colorado & West Texas. Must be willing to travel as we work in multiple states. The Compressor Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining natural gas compression units, ensuring their efficient and safe functioning. Daily tasks include monitoring equipment performance, conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining logs and records of all operations. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with the technical team and supervisory personnel to ensure seamless operation.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating natural gas compressor or lease operator Preffered
- Technical skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment
- Understanding of safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work full-time and remotely when needed
- Safeland or PEC Rig Pass
- Experience in the energy sector
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical education preferred
- Valid drivers license
Work Schedule and Adaptability
- This role requires working 12-hour shifts with one operator per shift.
- The work schedule includes 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Alternating Between Days and Nights each new Hitch.
- We work mainly in the DJ basin with our Closed Loop Natural Gas units but on occasion may go to West Texas and other areas when jobs call in.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary of $1,000 per week
- Day Rate of $300 per Day on any invoiced day.
- Training Day rate of $150 per day until fully on you own. 2 weeks to 1 month typically.
- Per Diem is covered with Company Credit card and includes Hotel, Work truck fuel, food and nonalcoholic beverage with a max spend of $25 per meal.
- Work truck provided by company. We have leased work trucks that are 2024 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel pickups.
- Company provides laptop and printer for invoicing and well data logging.
