Job Title: Composites & Painting Technician

Department: Production FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Composites & Painting Technician. No prior experience in composites is required-we will provide full training for the right candidate. If you have automotive painting, autobody repair experience, or a strong mechanical background, this could be a great opportunity for you to build a long-term career.

Key Responsibilities:


• Learn and assist with composite material preparation, finishing, and application.


• Perform precision painting and finishing on composite parts.


• Sand, prep, and apply coatings to achieve high-quality finishes.


• Work with various tools and equipment in a hands-on production environment.


• Follow detailed instructions, safety guidelines, and quality control processes.


• Assist in maintaining and cleaning equipment and the work area.


• Participate in ongoing training to develop new skills and improve processes.


• Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:


• No prior composite experience required-training will be provided.


• Background in automotive painting, autobody work, or other mechanical trades is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn is required.


• Comfortable working with hands, tools, and various materials.


• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to a structured workflow.


• Dependable and looking for a long-term career with growth opportunities.


• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.


• Willingness to work in a production environment with occasional exposure to chemicals and protective gear requirements.

Schedule:


• Full-time, Monday - Friday. Overtime may be required as needed.
