We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist - Level 1 Analyst to support our compliance team in verifying identity and Social Security Number (SSN) information. This role involves reviewing and processing identification data to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform identity verification (IDV) and SSN validation for new and existing employees.
- Cross-check documentation for accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of verification results in compliance systems.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or potential fraud cases to senior compliance personnel.
- Assist in routine audits and reporting related to ID verification processes.
- Ensure timely and efficient processing of verifications while maintaining data confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+ years of experience in compliance, identity verification, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze documents for accuracy.
- Familiarity with ID verification tools and compliance software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
