We're looking for a talented, detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to join our team. Under the direction of the Compliance Manager this role will be responsible for providing administrative support, oversight, and research for surplus lines tax laws, statutes, processes, and system updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume position, deliver timely and accurate work products with a focus on customer service, and respond with a sense of urgency as required
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of training and reference materials, including developing, refining, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Compile, track and provide reports on state laws to present to the Filing Services team
  • Research, maintain and ensure compliance requirements are met for each state and jurisdiction, and implement proper training for any state changes
  • Provide excellent customer service by building and maintaining positive relationships with states and clients
  • Maintain Risk Purchasing Group (RPG) compliance and general surplus lines compliance, and ensure the team is maintaining compliance with the states
  • Monitor team for consistency of information, quality and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and controls by analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation, and recommend improvements to strengthen the internal control structure
  • Communicate audit progress and findings
  • Create and maintain SOPs
  • Support the Filing Services Team in fulfillment of ad hoc requests as needed
  • Timely and accurately complete state regulatory surplus lines tax filings as needed
  • Reconcile filings with the InsCipher Connect platform, as needed
  • Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Risk Management, or equivalent experience in a relevant field required
  • 2+ years' insurance experience or regulatory experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a compliance or accounting role
  • Office and Google Suite competency with an emphasis on Excel and Sheets

Compensation Range: $22/hr - $26/hr
