LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Compensation and Benefits Manager responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. This role involves analyzing market data, evaluating current policies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and partnering with internal stakeholders to promote employee engagement and retention through effective rewards systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals and values.
- Conduct market benchmarking and analysis to evaluate and adjust salary structures and benefit plans, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity.
- Manage the annual compensation planning cycle, including salary review, merit increases, bonuses, and incentive programs.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, wellness programs, and leave of absence policies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations (eg, FLSA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA).
- Evaluate and select benefits vendors; manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and training to HR staff and managers on compensation practices and benefits administration.
- Lead communication efforts to educate employees on compensation structures and benefits offerings.
- Monitor trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, making recommendations for program enhancements and compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, and Legal teams to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of compensation and benefits processes.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits administration, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Certifications (preferred):
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, job evaluation methodologies, and benefits design.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, compensation tools (eg, Payfactors, Radford), and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
