Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Compensation Analyst at a leading manufacturing company in
Milwaukee, WI. The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and administering compensation programs to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role will play a critical part in maintaining internal equity and market competitiveness while supporting talent acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
Pay: $50 - $70 /hr
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and analyze internal and external data to support the development and maintenance of competitive compensation structures.
- Conduct job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and market pricing using compensation survey data.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and department leaders to provide compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and internal equity reviews.
- Support the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, incentive payouts, and salary adjustments.
- Assist in the development and administration of short- and long-term incentive plans.
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, wage and hour laws, and other federal/state compensation regulations.
- Maintain compensation data in HRIS systems and support reporting/analytics needs.
- Provide education and training to HR team members and managers on compensation practices and policies.
- Participate in compensation-related projects, including structure redesigns, system implementations, and internal audits.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related HR discipline (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP) and compensation tools a plus.
- Knowledge of compensation regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification is a plus but not required.
Pay Details: $50.00 to $70.00 per hour
