About STMA SchoolsWe are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Instructing/coaching students in:
  • Skill Instruction:
    • Teach fundamental and advanced football techniques based on position (e.g., tackling, blocking, passing, route running).
    • Emphasize proper mechanics and player safety in all drills and activities.
  • Game Strategy & Play Design:
    • Develop offensive and/or defensive playbooks that align with team strengths.
    • Teach formations, schemes, and situational strategies (e.g., red zone, two-minute drill).
  • Practice Planning & Execution:
    • Design and conduct organized practices that include position drills, team scrimmages, and conditioning.
    • Ensure practices are efficient, purposeful, and progressively build toward game readiness.
Start Date: June 16th

Contract: Seasonal
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, Times vary from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm

FTE: 0.20-0.35 FTE (8-14 hours per week)

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, depending upon your experience with Community Ed

No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.

Experience in instructing/coaching football
