  • 3-5+ years of Public Relations and Media experience.
  • Industry experience that includes work in hospitality and travel, healthcare, senior living, nonprofit, wellness +/or consumer tech and related fields.
  • Agency or freelance experience.
  • Record of results and relationships.

The Communications Strategist is a key agency position. It reports to the group Associate Vice President and is expected to build strong client partner relationships, provide daily program execution and engage with media, influencers and other opinion leaders.

What we expect from you:

  • You have at least 5 years of agency experience with hands-on client program execution experience with demonstrable program results.
  • You're familiar with the regional and national media landscape with a track record of media relations outcomes and relationships.
  • You understand how to support and implement integrated communication campaigns including earned as well as owned and social content strategies.
  • You take initiative and enjoy conceiving fresh ideas or innovative approaches for client partners and/or the agency.
  • You're comfortable juggling competing priorities and multiple clients
  • You take pride in your work and care about meeting or exceeding client partner expectations.
  • You're a solid writer, excelling in press style communications as well as creative copy for owned assets and social content.
  • You're also familiar with search engine principles, videography, branding and PR metrics and measurement techniques.
  • You are curious, constantly learning and demand the best of yourself no matter the task.
  • You seek to grow with the best, enjoy collaborative processes and want a workplace where your work ethic is recognized and appreciated.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Communication, Journalism or Marketing.
  • You are available for occasional travel.
