Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with an animal pharmaceutical company to hire a junior communications operations associate.
This full time, 3mos contract position is hybrid in Parsippany, NJ (on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays). The pay is $35-$42/hr. There is a strong possibility to extend.
Position Summary:
The Associate, Colleague Communications and Operations, is responsible for operationalizing and executing colleague communication strategies that enhance engagement, alignment, and visibility across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Functional Communications, this role plays a critical part in shaping how the Corporate Affairs team collaborates, plans, and executes cross-pillar initiatives, while also managing key internal channels such as the Zone and Viva.
This role will work closely with key internal stakeholders, including members of the Colleague Communications team, the Vice President of Corporate Communications, the Manager of Corporate Story and Content Management, and partners across the business.
Success in this role requires excellent project management skills, strong communication expertise, and a solid understanding of omnichannel management and execution. The ideal candidate will also have exceptional writing and editing skills tailored to an internal audience.

Responsibilities:
- 50% of the time - Develop standardized communications operations capabilities, including shared repository of templates, materials for team's use. Support transition of content planning into departmental calendar
- 30% of the time - Execute internal communication plans that drive colleague engagement, leadership messaging, and business priorities as directed by the Colleague Communications team. This will include development, posting content on the intranet and viva engage and managing all colleague invites and calendars.
- 20% of the time - Take on ad hoc projects to support the broader corporate affairs organization including managing a repository of industry and network opportunities the team can/should take advantage of
Requirements:
- BA/BS in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or similar field
- Professional experience
- Experience in project management and in using project management tools such as Asana
- Experience with calendaring
- Experience with Canva and other creative editing tools
- Experience in writing announcements and social posts based on target audiences
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Skilled at multi-tasking and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and discretion to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across functions and levels
- Experience with communication production including digital, presentations, events, video
- Able to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple projects at once, and maintain professionalism under pressure
- A drive for results and ability to achieve results through cross-functional teams, leveraging organization resources and exerting influence without direct authority
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Strong analytical, planning, attention to detail and prioritizing skills
This is a W2 position.
