Summary:
We are looking for multiple commissioning and qualification resources to join our Life Sciences team to support a large capital project in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
In addition, AMTS has opportunities throughout the country and overseas supporting multiple locations in MA, NH, RI, NC, TX, Europe, and other locations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Start-up C&Q experience of process and utility systems.
- Be able to work as part of a large project team and be a system owner for a system.
- Provide onsite assistance for the commissioning and qualification of utility and process systems including black and clean utility generation, HVAC systems, environmental monitoring, etc.
- Develop and assess commissioning and qualification test protocols using the KNEAT electronic documentation system.
- Collaborate with the project team to gather necessary information for informed decision-making, minimizing impacts on cost, timeline, and quality.
- Guide field execution to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures, maintaining adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as needed.
- Document any issues encountered through KNEAT and initiate project changes as needed for timely resolution.
- Ensure that all field execution activities are conducted safely, following health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, including oversight of Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures and risk assessments.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- 4+ years professional experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, construction, or industrial industries.
- Experience with specific commissioning/construction software and tools such as Cx Alloy, Kneat, Procore, ACC, Bluebeam, etc.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Familiarity with commissioning procedures, testing methodologies, and industry standards.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; prefer an individual with a positive, results oriented, team mindset, and capable of changing direction and focus as priorities shift.
Education:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in an engineering discipline) or relevant scientific or related discipline.
