As a Commercial and Consumer Analyst Underwriter, you will be responsible for analyzing commercial and consumer loans, including equipment leasing, vehicle, medical, commercial, and industrial loans ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 and up. You will play a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness and risk associated with these portfolios, ensuring sound decision-making and minimizing financial losses, and making sure all due-diligence is attained. Responsibilities : 1. Analyze consumer, agriculatural, and commercial portfolios, evaluating creditworthiness and risk. 2. Assess loan applications and financial statements to determine eligibility and risk exposure. 3. Conduct thorough commercial credit underwriting, adhering to company guidelines and regulations. 4. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate evaluation of loan applications. 5. Provide recommendations and present findings to management for review and approval. Essential Job Functions : 1. Evaluate creditworthiness and risk of commercial loans from various industries. 2. Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and assess collateral value. 3. Prepare comprehensive credit reports and loan summaries for management review. 4. Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and best practices in commercial underwriting. 5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of underwriting decisions and recommendations. Skills : 1. Minimum of 2 years' experience analyzing commercial portfolios. If you have some banking internships, part-time jobs in banking while you have been going to school, etc. that is also considered when combined with other skills and a strong gpa and related classes. 2. Strong knowledge and understanding of agriculture, equipment leasing, vehicle, medical, commercial, and industrial lending. 3. Proficiency in financial statement analysis and credit underwriting. 4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 5. Ability to effectively communicate complex information and recommendations to management. 6. Computer abilities/ proficiencies Benefits : 1.
