Requirements:
What you will be doing as a Commercial Sales Representative:
- Seek out new customer prospects, meet with key decision makers, and develop proposals that will attract and retain new customer accounts.
- Evaluating customer needs and selling company products and services.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with our current customers.
- Meeting sales goals set by management.
- Perform customer fleet inspections and prepare service recommendations. Sort and barcode tire casings using mobile devices and software in preparation for retread and repair.
- Work with operations to schedule customer tire deliveries. It is also necessary at times to load and deliver smaller orders using your company-provided truck or trailer.
- Assist with timely customer billing by establishing price contracts, entering guidelines into the billing system, invoicing, or a combination thereof.
- Relay clear and precise customer requirements and concerns to other departments, including Accounting, Operations, Management, and outside vendors, to ensure that customers receive outstanding service.
- Stay current on available products and services from a variety of vendors in an ever-changing market
- Requires frequent local travel.
What boxes you have to check:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 2 years of Sales experience.
- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Must have a valid driver's license; driving record must meet company's insurance requirements
- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Position requires continuous standing, bending, light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
- Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.
- Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
- Computer Skills: Must be able to use desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. Must have a working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Outlook, and MS Office. Knowledge of MaddenCo point-of-sale is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other employees and customers.
