As we continue to expand our operations, we are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Superintendent to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a Superintendent. Salary $75,000 to $95,000, Depending on Experience, 401(k), Vacation, Bonuses.
Job Description:
Supervise all on-site construction activities of assigned project from start to finish.
Able to read and understand building plans/blue prints and specifications, including digital plans.
Daily inventory of materials.
Efficient completion of all punch lists, prepare punch list/inspection response report for manufacturer or roofing consultant.
Manage crews.
Ensure all roofing work performed is of highest quality, according to manufacturer standards.
Attend Pre-Construction meetings and job-site meetings with General Contractors and Owners.
Coordination of Change Orders.
Manage and maintain construction schedule to ensure project completed on time and under budget.
Attend manufacturer and roofing consultant inspections.
Coordinate project issues and problems as they arise with Project Management.
Coordinate all subcontractors and vendors including deliveries, waste management, equipment rentals and deliveries.
New project mobilization.
Qualified Applicants Must Have:
Experience as a commercial roofing superintendent.
Must be familiar with various installation experience with the following manufacturers: Johns Manville, GAF, Soprema, Pac-Clad, Berridge, etc.
Must be knowledge of various roof systems, including BUR, SBS, PVC, TPO, Metal and Standing Seam.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Ability to multi-task, run several crews and projects at a time.
Must be able to interface with Owners, Subcontractors, General Contractors, and Company Management.
Basic computer and word processing skills.
Quality communication skills.
Valid Texas driver's license.
Necessary documentation and authorization to work in the State of Texas.
Mandatory drug test and criminal background check.
OSHA 30 certification will be required, if not already possessed. Minimum of OSHA 10Hr.
