A Commercial Real Estate Paralegal assists attorneys with various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including preparing and organizing legal documents, conducting due diligence, and coordinating closings. They ensure compliance with legal requirements and manage administrative tasks related to property transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation and Organization: Drafts, reviews, and organizes legal documents such as purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and deeds.
  • Due Diligence: Conducts title searches, reviews surveys and zoning reports, and performs other due diligence activities.
  • Closing Coordination: Prepares closing checklists, coordinates with title companies, and assists with the closing process.
  • Legal Research: Conducts legal research to support real estate transactions.
  • Communication: Communicates with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
  • Case Management: Maintains and organizes client files and legal documents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Performs administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized files.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to carefully review and prepare legal documents.
  • Knowledge of Real Estate Law: Familiarity with real estate principles and legal concepts.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software.
