LHH is assisting a leading law firm specializing in commercial real estate transactions. The firm provides exceptional legal services to their commercial clients, and we are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join their impactful team in Chicago.
As a
Paralegal in the
Commercial Real Estate division, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with various tasks related to commercial real estate transactions. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.
Salary: $80,000 - 115,000 depending on experience
Location: Hybrid (Chicago, IL)

Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive title and survey reviews, prepare summaries, and draft objection letters.
- Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and closing documents.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.
- Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, including title searches, zoning compliance, and environmental assessments.
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and other parties involved in transactions to ensure smooth and timely completion.
Conduct a
Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) judgment and lien assessment.
- Prepare and file necessary documents with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in the preparation of closing statements and other financial documents.
- Meet a target of 1500 billable hours.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or a related field.
- Paralegal certification required.
- 10+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial real estate.
- Strong understanding of real estate law and transaction processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
