We are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Property Manager to play a key role in managing our office properties in San Francisco.

This role offers the chance to lead within a successful boutique management firm. Key responsibilities will include financial management, operational oversight, building maintenance, and fostering strong tenant relationships while implementing innovative strategies for asset positioning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and vendors to drive organizational success.
  • Efficiently manage daily operations, collaborating with tenants and building staff to promptly resolve any issues.
  • Engage creatively and positively with tenants to deliver exceptional customer service and experiences.
  • Integrate new technology systems to enhance building operations and improve tenant interactions.
  • Participate in tenant improvement projects and oversee building capital projects.
  • Manage maintenance contracts and repair proposals to ensure they meet performance standards, efficiency, and budget expectations.
  • Work alongside the leasing team to achieve leasing and marketing objectives.
  • Network and grow business relationships by engaging with professional and civic organizations.
Financial/Administrative
  • Oversee client financial reporting and uphold best accounting practices.
  • Ensure timely collection of rents and payment of expenses in accordance with lease agreements.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for operational and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor and approve expenses to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
  • Review tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges for accuracy.
  • Oversee the creation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Prepare lease abstracts and maintain accurate tenant and accounting records based on lease terms.
  • Ensure all property files, including leases and contracts, are organized and maintained systematically.
Position Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial property or asset management.
  • Deep understanding of CAM reconciliations, insurance, real estate taxes, and lease terms.
  • Self-motivated individual with a willingness to innovate in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or real estate.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Yardi, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Certificates and/or Licenses:
  • Active California Department of Real Estate license is required.
  • CPM or RPA designation or candidacy is preferred.
