People Architects is excited to partner with our client, a well-established national construction firm with over 45 years of excellence in their field. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead on-site operations, ensuring top-tier quality, safety, and efficiency across every phase of our builds.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management of commercial builds, with a focus on ground-up construction
  • Interpret and manage blueprints, construction documents, and site plans
  • Coordinate all phases of construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Develop scopes of work, manage subcontractor relationships, and oversee RFI and submittal processes
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Negotiate contracts, track change orders, and maintain accurate cost control
  • Identify and mitigate risks to maintain smooth project execution
  • Serve as the central communication hub among clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Lead project teams and manage performance with clear accountability
  • Adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining high service standards and construction excellence

Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method, codes, and safety regulations
  • Proven success managing out-of-the-ground builds
  • Skilled in reading blueprints and technical documents
  • Experience with project management and construction software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and solutions-oriented
