Job Title: Complex Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Location: Miami or Weston, FL (Hybrid)
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Complex Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex commercial litigation, with experience in big law firms being highly desirable. This role offers hybrid flexibility, allowing you to work from either our Miami or Weston office, with an expectation to come in on Wednesdays and as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of complex commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery documents, and trial materials.
- Conduct legal research and analysis using Westlaw and other legal research tools.
- Manage case files, organize documents, and maintain accurate records for trial readiness.
- Coordinate depositions, court schedules, and other litigation-related activities.
- Summarize and analyze legal documents, including medical records and deposition transcripts.
- Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to ensure efficient case management and successful litigation outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, preferably in a big law firm.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research and case management software, including Westlaw, TrialPad, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with the ability to commute to either the Miami or Weston office as needed.
