Trustpoint.One has an immediate opening for a Commercial Litigation Paralegal on a contract-to-hire basis for an Am Law 200 law firm. This role will support all phases of the litigation process, from the discovery period through trial and on to post-trial findings and appeals for the firm. Successful candidates will have 4+ years of relevant experience in a large law firm. The position will be based on a hybrid schedule (2 days remote) in the firm's Roseland office and may require some in office attendance at the firm's Midtown office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years' Litigation Paralegal experience in a large law firm
- Extensive experience with NY and NJ state and federal court rules, processes and procedures, including E-filing
- Previous experience with docketing/calendaring software
- Strong to advanced usage of discovery and trial tools, such as Relativity and Trial Director
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of attorneys and staff
- Meticulously detail-oriented, organized and professional
- All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
