Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an integral member of litigation teams, supporting matters from inception through trial (including on-site trial support).
- Draft discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, cover motions, declarations, proposed orders, and correspondence.
- Maintain current, complete, and organized electronic client/matter files.
- Perform factual and legal cite-checking using the Bluebook and key citation authorities.
- Conduct litigation history research on opposing parties and counsel.
- Analyze and report on litigation metrics including judge history, motion outcomes, and case timelines.
- Coordinate and manage document collections and productions.
- Research and report on Daubert challenges and expert qualifications using legal databases and public records.
- E-file court documents in Texas State and Federal Courts, Bankruptcy Court, Fifth Court of Appeals, and the Texas Supreme Court.
- Assist attorneys with preparation for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials (in-person and virtual).
- Coordinate with external vendors to obtain bids and negotiate contracts for litigation support services.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a large law (AM Law) firm setting.
- Deep understanding of the litigation lifecycle and procedural rules (Federal, Texas, and local courts).
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with document management and litigation support tools including iManage, Relativity, Opus2, Docket Navigator, Lex Machina, Westlaw, Lexis, and trial presentation software (OnCue, Sanction, TrialDirector).
- Exceptional proofreading and legal research skills.
