We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to manage commercial insurance accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing exceptional customer service, and driving strategic growth initiatives. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in commercial insurance, account management, customer service, risk management, policy analysis, policy renewal, client relations, and property and casualty insurance.

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring customers receive the highest level of service.
2. Analyzing and assessing clients' risk exposures and insurance needs, and recommending appropriate coverage solutions.
3. Negotiating policy terms and conditions with insurance carriers.
4. Preparing and presenting proposals to clients, clearly communicating the benefits and features of the proposed insurance solutions.
5. Processing policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Issuing certificates of insurance (COI) and maintaining accurate records of all insurance documents.
7. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business operations and insurance needs, and providing proactive service and advice.
8. Collaborating with the sales team to identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and cross-selling.
9. Staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on account management, customer service, risk management, policy analysis, policy renewal, client relations, and property and casualty insurance.
2. A proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and delivering exceptional customer service.
3. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management practices.
4. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
5. Ability to analyze complex risk scenarios and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
6. Proficiency in using insurance software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
7. A professional insurance designation (e.g., CIC, CPCU, CRM) is preferred.
8. A valid insurance broker's license is required.
9. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
