Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operationsprovide superior service in expanding and maintaining the Commercial Lines Department client base, specifically transportation accounts ; analyze and maintain an assigned book of business by visiting clients, determining their insurance needs, and implementing services to help the client maintain their insurance; assist with quoting, handling client requests by mail, phone and email or in person from the policy holders, carrier representatives or others concerning their insurance needs; responsible for meeting growth and retention goals as well as implementing and managing service plans for designated clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage client renewal process through coordination of the account management team's efforts
- Conduct regular meetings with clients, specifically transportation accounts, including but not limited to Renewal Proposals and Pre-Renewal meetings with and without Sales Consultant
- Stay informed of industry trends including carrier appetites & relationships, and manage expectations with clients
- Assist Sales Consultants with new business development
- Execute SHAPE Service Standards to meet growth and retention goals
Certificates/Licenses/Education:
Property & Casualty Insurance License Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Valid Drivers License Required
Relevant Insurance/Risk Management Designations Preferred
